In this issue, "Dongxing Inorganic Terrazzo" invites you to enter the Coin Cafe of Yangzhou Vanke, to taste the architectural art beyond the everyday and to feel the unique lightness of this city's public space.
The Coin Cafe of Vanke Yangzhou covers the expression of architectural art, the rationality of design materials, and the relationship between people and places under commercial logic. From the exterior of the building to the interior, it seems to come from the depths of time, with a fluttering skirt and a thumping heart.
The building presents an unrestricted wandering state, with light diffusing into the interior from all around, and random circular skylights always casting a spot of light in the afternoon.
The gray terrazzo, set against the clean warm white, resembles a still life painting. Silently picking up the light, enjoying with each visitor, moving and quiet, the small time becomes tangible and dynamic.
The designer intends to release the true nature in the architectural perspective and space creation, and pursue the coziness of private enjoyment. The white is light, the gray is light, the light moves with the shadow, and the time flows backwards as if it were the first time.
Dongxing inorganic terrazzo - time lane, just like a teenager's delicate, light but not fixed to be well-behaved, rock particles like youthful spontaneity, in the rhythm, frank and spontaneous.
